Info Sapiens has contributed to the development of a comprehensive regional report titled «Women on the Move in Europe and Central Asia: A comparative analysis of mixed-migration dynamics, structural constraints and pathways to strengthen gender-responsive governance».
The research comprehensively analyses women's experiences and migration trends across diverse contexts, including labour mobility, forced displacement, economic precarity, climate pressures, and restrictive legal or regulatory regimes.
About the study
The study was commissioned under the substantive technical guidance and insights of the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia. For the initiative, the main contractor, Lattanzio KIBS, managed the overall coordination of the process, while engaging regional research teams to conduct the local studies. As the dedicated expert team for Eastern Europe, Info Sapiens prepared the analytical section mapping the migration landscape in Ukraine and Moldova. All intellectual property rights for the report belong to UN Women.
